At Aakarshana Boutique, we use artificial intelligence (“AI”) responsibly to enhance the online shopping experience and help customers better visualize how certain products may appear when worn. We believe in being transparent about this use and maintaining honest, accurate product representations.
1. How We Use AI
Some photographs, illustrations, videos, backgrounds, models, or other visual content displayed on our website, advertisements, emails, and social media accounts may be created or enhanced using AI technology.
We primarily use AI-generated models to display our clothing and accessories in a styled setting. These images are intended to help customers understand the overall appearance, drape, styling, and potential fit of a product. An AI-generated model is not a real person wearing or endorsing the product.
We do not use AI to create false customer reviews, fabricated testimonials, or misleading endorsements.
2. Identification of AI-Generated Images
Where reasonably appropriate, images substantially created using AI may be identified using language such as:
“AI-generated model image for visualization purposes.”
A general disclosure may also appear on a product page, collection page, social media post, or other location containing AI-generated content.
Minor editing tools used for routine corrections; such as cropping, color balancing, lighting adjustment, background removal, or image resizing, may not be individually disclosed.
3. Product Representation and Accuracy
AI-generated images are illustrative aids and should not be treated as exact photographic records of a product. Although we make reasonable efforts to ensure that these images reflect the actual merchandise, AI technology may occasionally produce differences or inaccuracies involving:
- Color, texture, sheen, or fabric appearance;
- Embroidery, weaving, prints, embellishments, borders, or other detailing;
- Product dimensions, proportions, or placement of design elements;
- Fit, length, drape, or styling;
- Accessories, jewelry, blouse designs, or other items shown with the product; and
- Backgrounds, body shapes, skin tones, or other visual elements unrelated to the item being sold.
Colors may also appear differently depending on lighting, photography, AI rendering, screen settings, and the device used to view the product.
Whenever available, customers should review the product’s written description, measurements, sizing information, fabric details, included-item list, and photographs of the actual merchandise before purchasing. Unless specifically stated in the product description, accessories, jewelry, shoes, styling pieces, or background items shown in an image are not included.
If an AI-generated image conflicts with the written product details or photographs of the actual item, please contact us for clarification before placing your order. We will make reasonable efforts to correct material inaccuracies brought to our attention.
4. Fit and Individual Results
The appearance and fit of a product will vary based on a customer’s measurements, body shape, height, styling choices, draping method, tailoring, and other individual factors. An AI-generated model image does not guarantee that a product will fit or appear the same way on every customer.
Customers are responsible for reviewing the applicable size chart and product measurements before ordering. Our use of AI-generated imagery does not replace or modify our published shipping, return, exchange, alteration, or refund policies.
5. Human Review
We aim to review AI-assisted content before it is published. However, AI systems can produce unexpected errors that may not always be immediately detected. We reserve the right to update, correct, replace, or remove any AI-generated or AI-assisted content that is inaccurate, misleading, inappropriate, or inconsistent with the actual product.
6. Models, Likenesses, and Endorsements
AI-generated models displayed by Aakarshana Boutique are intended to be fictional unless expressly identified otherwise. They are not intended to depict, imitate, or suggest an endorsement by any particular customer, celebrity, influencer, public figure, or other real person.
The appearance of an AI-generated model should not be interpreted as evidence that a real person used, purchased, recommended, or approved the product. Any genuine paid partnership, sponsorship, testimonial, or endorsement will be separately identified when disclosure is required.

7. Intellectual Property
We aim to use product photographs, reference materials, trademarks, designs, and other content that we own, license, or are otherwise permitted to use. AI-generated content does not give customers permission to copy, reproduce, distribute, alter, resell, or commercially exploit our website content, branding, product photographs, or other protected materials.
Ownership and copyright protection for AI-generated material may vary depending on applicable law and the level of human authorship involved. Nothing in this policy claims rights that cannot legally be claimed or limits the lawful rights of another party.

We do not intentionally use customer photographs, private customer information, or identifiable customer likenesses to generate marketing images without appropriate notice, permission, or another lawful basis.
If customers voluntarily submit photographs for styling assistance, customization, virtual visualization, marketing, or another service, we will handle those images according to the consent provided and our Privacy Policy. Such materials may be processed by service providers that assist us with AI or image-editing functions, subject to their applicable contractual and privacy obligations.

9. Fairness and Inclusion
AI systems may sometimes reflect biases or create unrealistic or stereotypical representations. We aim to use AI in a respectful and inclusive manner and to avoid content that unfairly discriminates against, stereotypes, or demeans individuals or communities based on race, ethnicity, nationality, skin tone, religion, gender, age, disability, body type, or another protected or personal characteristic.
